Cancer Awareness, Prevention and Early Detection (CAPED) Trust is an NGO working in the healthcare domain since its inception in 2014. Our core area of work is cancer prevention and early detection, with a focus on cervical cancer. We break down barriers to women’s health, and empower women to take action regarding their own health. We achieve this through community outreach, awareness and facilitating cancer screening for women from economically weaker sections of the society.

We have presence in Punjab, Haryana, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Gujarat, Rajasthan, Jharkhand, Karnataka, Odisha and Uttarakhand. We undertake advocacy efforts to effect policy changes at national level to facilitate wider accessibility to cervical cancer prevention modalities.

CAPED works to eliminate cervical cancer through awareness, screening, vaccination, and patient support. We conduct community-driven campaigns to break stigma and promote prevention, reaching thousands through schools, RWAs, and digital platforms. Our screening camps offer free services in underserved areas, supported by counselling and follow-up. We facilitate HPV vaccinations for adolescent girls and empower families with accurate information. CAPED also ensures screen-positive women receive timely care through our Patient Navigation program. Our advocacy and research efforts influence policy and global dialogue, positioning us as a trusted voice in India’s fight against cervical cancer.
